Areas of research include monitoring with traps, temperature dependent development of the FAW, sampling of biocontrol agents, host suitability studies of poaceous and broad leaf plants, physiological studies to predict areas of permanent persistence and estimation of the baseline susceptibility of FAW to insecticides.
