    Worked extensively in past on invasive pests viz., Serpentine leaf miner and Sugarcane wooly aphid in India . Worked on insecticide resistance of H.armigera, DBM, S.litura and also on resistant alleles in H.armigera and DBM. Presently associated with FAW in the capacity of educating IPM strategies, Pesticides to farmers and extension workers .

    • Cpmpetitative displacement is a phenomenon which has to be taken into account in this case . Detailed studies have to be carried out, There are instances where fruit flies belonging to same genus also displace others. Storage pests like beetles are some of the examples

    • Bacteria can be used for managing fall army worm .There are instances wherein it has given good control of pests like diamondback moth, but on the other side the first report of resistance to Bt was also reported in DBM. hence, one has to be cautious
