Chemical control of fall armyworm on corn in Cocula, Guerrero, Mexico
The aim of this study was to evaluate the biological effectiveness of insecticides chlorpyrifos, emamectin benzoate, spinoteram, novaluron, deltamethrin and zeta-cypermethrin against Spodoptera frugiperda in Cocula, Guerrero. The results showed that the insecticides at the evaluated doses represented 45 to 56% reduction in damage, and in the number of larvae from 86 to 95% in the different
treatments 21 days after application.
