I agree with Rick on this one. “GM maize provides the safest and effective means of controlling FAW”. GM maize providing resistance to FAW has been exemplified in the Americas, South Africa, Vietnam and the Philippines. “Getting people to understand the common notion of food safety” (including that of GM crops) is the crux of the matter. A (practical) understanding of this will enable governments to invest in GM technology to control #FAW and other governments to lift bans imposed on GM. Thanks for sharing Anne.
